This building has changed owners quite a few times over the years- pizzajoint, sub shop, but this by far is the best rendition yet. While the service is friendly, it can be a bit impersonal depending on who you get (one reason for only 4 stars). That aside, service is usually very quick. As one reviewer mentioned, the breads are homemade, which makes the cheesesteak a big winner. Also worth mentioning is the grilled chicken salad- not spelled out on the menu, it comes in a very tasty fried yellow corn tortilla bowl.... mmmmm. I've been hitting up this small resturant for years, and as long as they keep churning out good, quick food, I'll continue to be a regular!

First off, I've never left a bad review here, EVER. First time here. Service left much to be desired on a slow Monday. Had to ask for more napkins, no drink refill, extremely slow in getting bill, food brought out at different times, etc.... All the annoying stuff at a restaurant. Don't sit in the back due to loud banging against the wall from "dough making." Just silly.... sounds like kids jumping on a bed, and even my toddlers were scratching their head wondering about the noise. Charged extra for pizza type we didn't order for two pizzas. Waitress indicated, "He makes me charge that way," after I stood with the menu disputing the price, something else I never do! $43+ before a tip (one I'm annoyed I even left) for two pizzas and a kids spaghetti in Hagerstown/Greencastle? I'm a local who appreciates local input on Yelp when traveling. If you're on 81 looking for pizza, do any of the Rocky's, not this place.

I'd like to start out this review by saying that to food is good. It was cold but good. I was in town visitin family and we walked over to pick up our food. There was hardly anyone there and the waitress came and took our money and said it would be just a few minutes. After 20 minutes she came back to tell us that the delivery driver took half hour order. After we say for another 10 minutes she brings out our food. Half cold and half just cooked. When I took it home we had a cheesesteak and some French fries that were cold. When we called back to ask them to remake it the manager said he was very busy and he would call is back. Never called back and they never offered to take money off our bill or offer us any type of compensation. Won't be paying expensive prices for cold food ever again. BE AWARE!!!

My friend came to visit from Upper Marlbaro, Md and wanted a great place to eat. Im new here so, I wasnt sure were to go. At first I was skeptical about TexMex and Italian fusion but our food was excellent. We started mozzarella sticks and then served with salad and garlic bread. I ordered the shrimp tivoli in vodka sauce tossed with sun dried tomatos, and portabella mushrooms. The portions are hearty man-sized, so sharing would suggested. It has a seperate lounge for drinking. However, we did recieve the wrong orders the at first.

Great place and a really nice dining room. Priced right and clean. Food is delicious, especially the cheese steaks, pizza, nachos and really good burritos! Portions are pretty good although "topping quantities" they can be inconsistent depending upon who is in the kitchen. Coupons are all over the place! Menu is extensive and they have a banquet room which can be used for groups. Service is fast even on the prime time weekends. Yikes, prices jumped and THEN jumped again.

Flew in to Hagerstown airport and was looking to grab a quick bite while the plane was refueling. Airport employees suggested II Castello and they were right! Had a Buffalo chicken pizza and it was amazing. I took it to go, but while waiting, service seemed prompt, quick and attentive. I know where I'm eating in Hagerstown area next time.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
